Two online modules are offered. One is intended for use by all Alaska certified staff, and the other is a supplement for counselors. Both modules address the topic of gender and race equity. Some parts of these modules may be specific to the state of Alaska.

Developed from an interactive CD-ROM, this program can be downloaded from the website, along with a staff development booklet and resources for training.  This package can be used as an instructional device for preservice and inservice teachers, teacher education faculty, and college faculty in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM fields).  It is intended to (a) introduce educators and future educators to research on gender and gender socialization, (b) sensitize users to the gender bias that operates in STEM classrooms and programs, and (c) expose users to classroom strategies and interventions designed to reduce gender

The goal of this practice guide is to formulate specific and coherent evidence-based recommendations that educators can use to encourage girls in the fields of math and science.  The target audience is teachers and other school personnel who have direct contact with students, such as coaches, counselors, and principals.  The practice guide includes specific recommendations for educators and the quality of evidence that supports these recommendations.
