Using Positive Behavioral Interventions in the Classroom and School

The classroom strategies presented in this program were selected from among those that have empirical evidence of effectiveness. The purpose of this condensed program is to describe student management programs that work effectively to prevent the future occurrence of antisocial behavior and resolve minor behavioral problems in the classroom. Emphasis is on teaching students how to behave rather than how not to behave, in order to develop a positive classroom environment conducive to learning. Currently there are four modules available: Module One: Establishing Classrooms for Student Achievement; Module Two: Reinforcement and Total Classroom Management Strategies; Module Three: Using Positive Behavioral Interventions in the Classroom and School; and Module Four: Teaching Students How to Behave - Social Skills.
